About the Eagleton Center for Public Interest Polling

The Eagleton Center for Public Interest Polling, also known as the Eagleton Poll, was established in 1971. We are one of the oldest and most respected university-based state survey research centers in the United States. Our mission is to provide scientifically sound, non-partisan information about public opinion. While Eagleton is best known for our polling for news media, we have conducted research for all levels of government as well as nonprofit organizations and university faculty and staff. Recent projects include statewide surveys of customers and employers for the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission and a national survey of election administrators for the U.S. Election Assistance Commission.
