Amy Funck is a Research Assistant for the Eagleton Center for Public Opinion Polling and an Adjunct Professor at the Eagleton Institute of Politics. She helps to design surveys and analyze data for internal and client projects; contributes to the center’s journal publications; and manages our undergraduate program which trains students in all aspects of public opinion polling from project design to social media engagement. Amy received her Ph.D. from Rutgers University with a focus in Political Psychology and Research Methods. She currently researches why people vote, the role of emotions in politics, and how people learn about politics. Her work has been published in the American Journal of Political Science and Political Behavior. Previously, Amy was an assessment specialist and political content expert for ETS, and an election research coordinator at Edison Research.
