The Eagleton Center for Public Interest Polling (ECPIP) manages the Rutgers-Eagleton Poll, established in 1971 as one of the nation's first university-based statewide public opinion polls. The Center also undertakes other survey research in the public interest and designs opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students to learn how to read, analyze, design and administer polls.

The Rutgers-Eagleton Poll’s time series of data, reporting attitudes about candidates, politics, public policy, the economy, and social trends in more than 160 surveys, is archived and publicly accessible here.
