THE GUBERNATORIAL ELECTION–REAGAN AND BYRNE: EVALUATIONS AND IMPACT

While Jim Florio and Tom Kean are the candidates for Governor in New Jersey, much of the campaign talk has focused on two other political figures-—President Ronald Reagan and Governor Brendan Byrne. But an Eagleton Poll released today indicates that neither candidate will be helped much by their association with Reagan or Byrne.
