THE 1990 SENATE ELECTION: BRADLEY’S EARLY LEAD DECLINES

With about a month left before the election. Democrat Bill Bradley’s lead in the race for the U.S. Senate has dropped to 56 percent from the 64 percent advantage he had in July. This is an 8 point decline in the past three months. However, Bradley still has a substantial 2 to 1 lead over the Republican challenger Christine Todd Whitman.
