Taxes lead the list of issues uppermost in the minds of Jerseyans

Taxes lead the list of issues uppermost in the minds of Jerseyans according to the Eagleton Institute’s New Jersey Poll conducted January 5-11. A statewide random sample of 1225 adults was asked to list the two or three issues they thought were the most Important facing New Jersey today. Taxes were with 16% specifying that property-taxes are too high. Poll results from February and May 1972 show mentioned by 34% of sample, with 16% specifying that property taxes are too high.
