POSSIBLE BACKLASH AGAINST REPUBLICANS IN CONGRESSIONAL VOTING SEEN DUE TO CLINTON-LEWINSKY AFFAIR

Instead of humiliating President Clinton and strengthening themselves by holding impeachment hearings, Congressional Republicans may be risking a backlash at the polls in New Jersey by awakening angry Democrats in what otherwise might have been a fairly boring set of Congressional elections.

SEX, LIES AND … THE PRESIDENCY

New Jersey’s take on the Bill Clinton–Monica Lewinsky sex scandal can be summed up pretty easily, according to the most recent Star-Ledger/Eagleton Poll: “OK, so the President had a sexual relationship with an intern, lied about it and got caught. Impeach him? Are you people crazy? Get a life.”
