RACE FOR THE SENATE: LAUTENBERG STILLS LEADS, BUT DAWKINS WITHIN STRONG DISTANCE

The race for the U.S. Senate in New Jersey has narrowed substantially between September and October, to the point where Republican challenger Pete Dawkins may now be within striking distance of incumbent Democratic Senator Frank Lautenberg.
