President Nixon’s standing among New Jerseyans continues to fall, as a majority now favors either his resignation or impeachment. According to the latest New Jersey Poll, conducted between January 20 and February 5 by the Eagleton Institute of Rutgers University, oiily 6% rated Nixon’s overall performance as President as “excellent” and I% rated it “good.” Another,23% of those questioned rated:, his job performance “only fair” and a majorlty–54%—-rated it in the lowest category as “poor.” The remaining 3% had no opinion.
