President Ford’s standing among New Jerseyans has declined over the past few months

President Ford’s standing among New Jerseyans has declined over the past few months, according to the latest New Jersey Poll. This statewide survey, conducted by the Eagleton Institute of Rutgers University during the first two weeks in February found that only 28 percent gave Ford a positive job rating of “excellent” or “good”, while 68 percent gave him a negative rating of “poor” or “fair”.
