NEW JERSEYANS STRONGLY FAVOR RAISING DRINKING AGE

By an almost three—to-one margin, New Jerseyans favor raising the states drinking age, according to the latest Eagleton Poll. The survey, conducted during the first two weeks of April, found 74 percent in favor of and 25 percent opposed to increasing the drinking age from the current 18 years of age.
