NEW JERSEYANS NEGATIVE ABOUT TELEVISION COVERAGE OF THE STATE

New Jerseyans are more negative than positive about the television coverage of New Jersey provided by stations in New York and Philadelphia. The latest Eagleton Poll, conducted during the first two weeks in April, found that 41 percent rate out-of-state television coverage of the Garden State positively, as either “excellent” or “good,” as compared to 54 percent who rate the coverage negatively, as either “only fair” or “poor.”
