NEW JERSEYANS’ ATTITUDES TOWARD REGIONALIZING LOCAL SERVICES

Overall, more New Jersey residents favor the regionalization of Local public services than oppose it, and half of the state’s residents think that regionalizing local services with a neighboring town would lower their property taxes. However, about 6-in-lO residents say that they have not read or heard anything about regionalization as a way for towns to share costs to hold taxes down.
