New Jersey voters are sharply divided over the possible effects of legalizing casino gambling in the state. Results from the latest New Jersey Poll, conducted by the Eagleton Institute of Rutgers University, show that supporters think their taxes would be reduced by the introduction of casino gambling. Opponents of the legalization of gambling casinos fear an increase in organized crime.
