By a margin of more than two to one, New Jersey residents believe the Democratic party is “better able to run the state government” than their Republican opposition. The latest New Jersey Poll, a statewide survey conducted by the Eagleton Institute of Politics at Rutgers University, found that 41 percent named the Democrats, 18 percent chose the Republicans, 11 percent responded neither party, and 29 percent had no opinion.
