New Jersey Governor Brendan Byrne’s standing among the state’s voters has reached its lowest level since he took office, according to the latest New Jersey Poll. This statewide survey, conducted during the first two weeks in Feb—wary by the Eagleton Institute of Rutgers University, found that 21 percent gave the Governor a positive rating of “excellent” or “good”, while 74 percent gave him a negative rating of “fair” or “poor”. The remaining 5 percent were undecided.
