NEW JERSEVANS WOULD EXTRACT HEAVY PRICE FROM CORPORATE POLLUTERS

Reflecting the paramount concern for protecting the environment, large majorities of New Jerseyans would support heavy sanctions against businesses and companies that knowingly break anti-pollution laws. According to the latest Star-Ledger/Eagleton Poll, most residents think heavy fines and requiring companies to pay the full cost of any clean-up are fair penalties for corporate polluters.
