MARIJUANA USAGE UP SLIGHTLY IN NEW JERSEY

More than one in five New Jersey adults report having used marijuana, according to a recent Eagleton Poll. The statewide survey, taken in mid—April, finds that 22 percent of the state’s residents 18 years of age or older acknowledge having used marijuana at some time. This figure is up only slightly from 1974, when a similar Eagleton Poll found 19 percent of New Jerseyans reported having used marijuana.
