JUST AS MANY NEW JERSEYANS TAKING VACATIONS AS IN PAST, MORE VACATIONING IN GARDEN STATE

The number of Garden Staters taking vacations has changed little in the last two years, though more of the state’s residents are choosing to spend their vacations in their home state. The Rutgers-based Eagleton Poll also found that the number of short recreation trips taken by New Jerseyans was virtually the same this summer as in 1978, even though the number of short trips to the Jersey shore has declined.
