Seven-in-ten New Jerseyans say they approve of the state’s Homestead Tax Rebate Program, according to the latest Star-Ledger/Eagleton Poll. And while the survey shows that a majority supports the idea of using state income tax funds to provide property tax relief through the Homestead Tax Rebate Program, state residents are about evenly divided over the change that provides larger rebates to those with less income.
