JERSEYANS FEEL STATE INCOME TAX CUT WILL HELP ECONOMY; BUT REJECT IT IF IT MEANS HIGHER PROPERTY TAXES

A majority (6 1%) of New Jersey residents feel that Governor Whitman’s plan to cut state income tax rates by 30 percent over three years will help stimulate New Jersey’s economy, and half of the state’s residents believe that Whitman will be able to provide this tax cut.
