ECONOMIC ISSUES DOMINATE VOTER CONCERNS; CLINTON SEEN AS BETTER ABLE TO HANDLE IMPORTANT ISSUES

Economic concerns top the list of issues New Jersey voters think are important in the 1992 presidential campaign. More than 9-in-lO voters say that both “providing jobs’ and “managing the economy” are very important issues in this presidential election. Also, more than 2-in-S voters specifically mention unemployment as the most important problem the next president will have to solve.
