CONFIDENCE IN INSTITUTIONS

The most recent Star-Ledger/Eagleton Poll took a look at how much confidence New Jerseyans have in 17 prominent political, social and economic institutions. Just six of the 17 could be said to be held in a positive state of trust, another five—including government—seem to be held in a state of suspicion where the public is not hostile but far from confident, and the remaining six incur a great deal of public misgiving.
