Attitudes about legalizing gambling in N.J. are clearly related to the type of wager being considered

In a poll conducted March 23โ€”31, the Eagleton Institute found that attitudes about legalizing gambling in N.J. are clearly related to the type of wager being considered and that support for legalized gambling is linked to the belief that legalization will reduce taxes. The poll contacted by telephone a statewide random sample of 1224 persons 18 years of age and older.
