JERSEYANS ON THE ENVIRONMENT: SERIOUSNESS OF OCEAN POLLUTION DROPS AS RATING OF STATE GOVERNMENT IMPROVES
Half of New Jersey residents give positive ratings to state government’s job performance in protecting the environment—a substantial improvement from three years ago when only 24 percent gave that rating.
President Bill Clinton’s job performance ratings have declined 16 percentage points in the past four months. While about 3-in-lO state residents give the President positive ratings, more than twice as many — 7-in-JO — rate his overall performance in office negatively.
