SOUTH JERSEY SECESSION: AN IDEA WHOSE THE HAS NOT YET COME

While a clear majority of South Jersey residents are opposed to forming a separate state, there is a solid core who presently favor secession, according to a recent Eagleton Poll.

While New Jerseyans have an easier time in pinpointing the Byrne administration’s failures than its successes, state residents are willing to acknowledge that Brendan Byrne has served the state well in a number of areas as he comes to the end of his term of office.
