NEW JERSEYANS, PRESIDENT IN AGREEMENT OVER NEED FOR CIVIL SERVICE REFORM

New Jerseyans give strong backing to civil service reforms along the lines of those proposed by President Carter, according to the results of the latest Eagleton Poll.

BYRNE’S JOB RATING DECLINES

Brendan Byrne’s job rating as Governor has declined since the beginning of this year, but remains higher than ratings received by the legislative and judicial branches of the state government. RECOGNITION OF NEW JERSEY SENATORS CONTINUES TO BE LOW

Clifford Case and Harrison Williams are still not household words in New Jersey.
